Take it Easy
This is advice for my future self.
Whenever you're dealing with globally relevant topics, and other work which said topics concern, work which you think can be done but isn't being done or isn't being done as properly, take it easy.
Does it mean you should be okay with human extinction? Yes. Hear me out. Because that is the only way to do what actually needs doing. Utopia and Extinction are outcomes. You cannot control them simply because you cannot dictate the future. What you can dictate is simply a way of operation. A way which elegantly deals with everything a human can possibly deal with.
If you do everything you can do and humanity still goes extinct, you were still a success. You didn't fail. But if you concern yourself with how much you cannot do, then you will get paralyzed and won't be able to do what you can do.
Nobody might tell you that you did great, so I'll have you know in advance. Even personal failure as big as human extinction is okay. Just make sure you have proof that you did everything you could. And paralysis through justification of fear is evidence against it.
"Even when he went to war, Krishna wore a peacock feather. He was not a vain man but absolutely committed to make every aspect of his life into a celebration. Whether it was his emotion, mind, action, or clothes – he always wanted to be at his best for everyone around him. This is love." — Sadhguru, on Krishna
Good luck!
