Organizing Life

We cannot control how much work we can get done. We cannot control what we achieve by the end of it all.

What we can control is how we organize the finite amount of time and energy allotted to us on an individual level, and have the vehicle keep going at its optimum capability at all times. By focusing on the source, we eliminate distractions and proxies put on us by our culture and well wishers, including ourselves. Optimality needs to take into account all variables so the vehicle does not need towing half way through the journey. It accounts for planning the tire repair so it can be done when one is near the pit stop. It anticipates problems as part of the curves on the road.

Such a journey makes irrelevant the output. Because when moving ahead to our maximum capability, output is already the best it can be.
